Sedzani’s business, Nzalo Careers, provides coaching services to young school leavers to understand what options exist for future education and personal development. She was born and schooled in Limpopo, and struggled to find this assistance for herself. Sedzani describes herself as an introvert and said she would never have seen herself running a business, but the Black Umbrellas programme enabled her to see her potential and capacity in a new light and to believe in herself. She believes that self-awareness, so often lacking for young people, is critical for career development. This is at the heart of her new business venture.
